About Beading FantasyBeading Fantasy was founded in 2003 by Shirley Lim. Shirley's love of beading started in 2000 when she came across a Japanese loom book which had a peyote ring design. It was considered tough as the instruction is written in Japanese and she had no knowledge of beading ... Since then, she has designed her own range of beaded art and selling jewellery, patterns online. She specializes in the bead-weaving technique, using a needle and thread to weave tiny seed beads into work of art. She believes in using high quality Japanese made beads, although they are more costly. The consistent color and size of these Japanese beads makes the time consuming work of weaving them worthwhile, as they retain their colors better and give precise result. With the extension knowledge and experience, she will like to share it with the beaders who are keen in learning new techniques and designs. She is currently teaching class at Bead Hub. These workshops are available in pre-packed kits. Completed beaded art are available for sale at the shop.
